He was interested in seeing the negative picture of Paul Strand.
During the World War II he worked in photography for the Ministry of Interior records .But Adams was shocked Japanese Americans interned after the attack on Pearl Harbor ,and he visited Manzanar camp in California's Owens Valley in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, including Williamson.After that he presented as "the loyalty of Japanese Americans in concentration camps cited Manzanar, California counties (Photographs of the loyal Japanese-Americans at Manzanar Relocation Center, Inyo County, California)"
I like this picture Because I can feel the depth and breadth of the sky.And also nice balance of black and white cloud mountain.
